I LOVE COLLEGE

Where else could you see a guy in a kilt, one playing a banjo, someone riding a unicycle, and maybe even somebody in a banana suit in one place? Where else...but college?! I've seen some pretty crazy things...things that make me think "Who are these people and where do they come from??!!" But, I just have to smile and shake my head. It's hilarious. I love college. This is the place where so many people from all over the country-the world, really-come together to learn. It's an intriguing place full of learning and having unforgettable experiences, whether it's making new friends, playing "Quidditch on the Quad", or going to a crazy party and not remembering anything the next morning. A lot of people come to college thinking they will be just like they were in high school. I guess some people are that way, but not me. That's for sure. I've changed sooo much since high school...mostly from experiences I've had. There's nothing wrong with making a few mistakes every now and then...it's called LIVING. I love walking across campus by myself, seeing everyone around me and how different everyone is. I love feeling peaceful because I have amazing friends and exciting plans for the upcoming weekend...even though I'm basically poor and don't really know where my future is headed. Maybe that's what college is all about-well, earning a degree, of course-but maybe it's about having awesome experiences, learning from mistakes, and just enjoying yourself while you're young. I mean...where else can you look to your right and see a frat boy in khaki's and look to your left and see a girl with an afro wearing a tie-dyed dress? Only college.
