The CRAZIEST week everrrr

This has been, without a doubt, the craziest, most random week I've ever experienced.

I was in the hospital for almost a whole week with a collapsed lung. I had a tiny chest tube put in, and then surgery to seal my lung back to the chest cavity and another larger chest tube in. I'm not going to lie...it was pretty horrible and I hope I don't have to go through something like that again.

While I was in the hospital, watching the news, I watched as tornadoes tore up Cullman and Tuscaloosa, my two homes. I drove through Tuscaloosa today and witnessed the damage firsthand. It was mind blowing. Over 300 people have been found dead from these tornadoes and there are still tons of people missing. Many businesses and houses were destroyed; almost the whole town of Hackleburg and Phil Campbell are now gone. It's devastating how quickly so many people's homes and workplaces and towns were taken away. It makes me cry to think about it, but the good news is...Alabama is a strong state and everyone is currently working together to lift these people up that need help. I really want to volunteer when I get back later this week. (Trying to get better from the surgery in order to do that)

Annnnd...as if all that isn't enough, tonight on the news, President Obama announced that Osama Bin Laden has been killed and his body is here in the U.S. Wow. What an end to this horrible week. After ten years of searching for this terrible man, the one who lead the attacks on 9/11, he is finally dead. They are talking about whether or not America will begin to withdraw the troops, but I don't really think that's a great idea, although it would be nice to have our troops home and safe. Although the leader of Al Qaeda is, in fact, dead, who's to say that there's not another smart, demonic leader that will soon take (or has already taken) his place? We don't need to forget about them...they most likely haven't forgotten about us...especially if we are the one's who killed him.

This is just all too much for one week. I'm really beginning to think the world is coming to an end soon. There are storms, wars, terror, deaths, everything that God said would be happening. I'm ready for it if it's coming soon, but it's just a little crazy to think about!
