1.) I am thankful for my relationship with my one and only Savior. Without my relationship with God, I don't think I could make it. He is always there for me and gives me hope that I can't get anywhere else.
"Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You." Psalm 73:25
2.) I'm thankful to live in a country where I am free to worship and be educated and decide how I want to live my life.
3.) I'm sooo thankful for my family. They are always there for me, supporting me and loving me everyday.
"Family is not an important thing, it's everything." Michael J. Fox
4.) I'm thankful for my true friends...the ones that have stuck with me through thick and thin. You know who you are and just know that I love ya'll and don't know what I would do without ya'll! :)
5.) I'm thankful for the morals and guidance from my parents. Although I, along with everyone else, went through my resentful, rebellious days, I am so grateful for my parents and for everything they have taught me over the years. They always support me and always have advice for me when I desperately need it.
6.) I'm thankful for the awesome university I get to go to! ROLL TIDE
7.) I'm thankful that I have enough food to eat and clean water to drink. We often take things like this for granted, but I'm so grateful that I am able to be healthy.
8.) Speaking of "healthy", I'm thankful for my health. I've been through a lot with my health during my lifetime: two major surgeries, scoliosis, a collapsed lung and another surgery...but I am healthy now. My results from my doctor appointment (mentioned in an earlier blog post) came back this week and I am doing great! It's so relieving to hear that kind of news and for that, I am very thankful!
9.) I'm thankful for wealth. I may complain from time to time about being a "poor college kid", but I know that I have everything I need and more than I need, really.
10.) I'm thankful for everything I own, from my car and clothes, to my laptop. This may sound weird, but we really tend to take everything for granted. I am so thankful that I'm able to have as many things as I do.
There's soooo much for us to all be thankful for and we shouldn't just limit our time of thanks to this time of the year. We should continuously thank God for all He has given us each and every day. I am so lucky to be this fortunate and I want to remember that every day of my life.
Happy Thanksgiving!
